Madhya Pradesh is the second largest state in India. Madhya Pradesh is one the state which was rich in culture tradition as well as traditions. In this state the people can see anything whether it was related to the culture , tradition, cuisine etc. In this not only these customs are available but also ,as we talk about the history, it was the home of the two India's greatest dynasties- The Mauryan & Gupta Empire. In Madhya Pradesh there are many wonderful places available for the tourist that the tourist cannot denied to see.

In Madhya Pradesh there are a numerous tourism destinations are available for the every type of tourist either the tourist is history and culture lovers or a adventure lovers. In M.P. there are not only the normal tourist destination are available but there are also a 3 UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITES available for the tourist. It was :- The Khajuraho Group of Monuments (1986) , Buddhist Monuments of Sanchi (1989) , The Rock Shelters of Bhimbetka (2003).

In Madhya Pradesh there are Jabalpur, Rewa, Gwalior, Orchha, Sanchi etc and there are total 9 National Park Available in MP, in which 6 are Tiger Reserve,which of them are :- Kanha , Panna , Bandhavgarh, Pench and Satpura etc. makes it a nature lover’s Shangri-La. There are many wildlife trips and safaris organized in MP, allowing one plenty of opportunities to take in the beauty of the state’s countryside.

WILDLIFE

In Madhya Pradesh when it comes to the adventure lover's it acquainted to the rest of all the states of India . Madhya Pradesh has won the award for the 'Best State for Adventure Tourism' along with Uttarakhand. In the heart of India there are many adventure activities available like :- trekking, parasailing and boating to camping, river rafting, mountaineering, jungle safari, heritage walk to food walk, there is something for everyone.

TIGER SAFARI in MP

If the tourist loves adventure, then there is 6 Tiger Reserve available in Madhya Pradesh, where Tiger Safari can be enjoyed namely Kanha, Bandhavgarh, Satpura, Pench, Panna, and Sanjay-Dubri. Jeep safari is the best way to explore the wildlife in Madhya Pradesh.A trip to the forests would be a great way to spend a holiday.

River rafting on the Betwa river, Orchha

River Rafting is another breathtaking sport that adventure aficionado can try out in only give the taste of thrill but provide you a fine view of regal Orchha Chattris which are nestled near the river. The best time to do river rafting in Orchha is during August to February. Rafters encounter the best of Betwa River in all its glory. The 3 hours river rafting expedition will take one to the Orchha Wildlife Sanctuary, further downstream to the Kanchan Ghat. Monsoon is the best time to raft in Madhya Pradesh.

Parasailing, Paragliding, Rock Climbing in the Hills of Pachmarhi

The area of Pachmarhi offers this exciting adventure activity to experts as well as beginners. Pachmarhi is the only hill station of Madhya Pradesh that boasts of exciting aerial activities. Parasailing and Paragliding are the exhilarating sports that will give you an adrenaline rush. Other activities that suit the landscape of Pachmarhi are Rock Climbing and Trekking.
